So, It was a dream come true for me. Me and one of my friends used to discuss about joining Acting Workshop since 2018, but don’t know from where to kick off. I had searched few acting classes in Bangalore earlier. And, one fine day in January of 2023 , I received a mail from Vishal Nayer who was going to conduct a 6 weekends Acting Workshop for begineers. And in mail, it was mentioned that there is no prior exposure to Acting is required, and that sentence just clicked, and I made my mind to give it a shot to join Vishal Nayer’s Acting Workshop. And when I look back,I am proud to listen to my heart and took that decision. It’s life changing , alltogether a new experience, as I haven’t been to stage or camera. I was and am a person just with the passion of Acting.
Talking about Vishal Nayer’s way of conducting Acting Workshop. I am genuinely saying this, that I have understood each bit of craft of Acting whatever was taught, and the reason behind this is the magic and excellence of way of Vishal’s approach to Acting. Some great person has a saying ( If you could explain the complex things in a simpler way, then you have understood the gist of that ) . The best part about Vishal’s Acting Workshop was that we would be doing, making mistakes, and repeating the very minute technicalities of Acting . The workshop is structured in a very logical way , wherein you would be starting with very basic , working on each aspect of theater and then slowly moving forward. They would be hand holding, if you are making mistakes. As Vishal always says, you should know where you are doing the things in a wrong way, and he will make you understand it, and once you finds your mistakes, you know what to do. A good teacher is the one , who make you realise about your mistakes and at the same time inspires you. And that exactly applies to Vishal.
And in the end, I want to thank all our wonderful co-actors for everything. I had a great time and enjoyed a lot , had a lot of smiles and laughs during the process of Workshop.
