Mitravardhan Singh – Feedback on Level 1 Workshop (2023/2)

I’ve tried not to process it, because this journey has been nothing short of life-changing. I generally don’t like to admit that moments like this that have shaped me have passed by, but here I am, not only trying to process it, but also explain about the experience.
An experience where I went through a full emotional rollercoaster, through so many ups and downs, realising how you come back up after a failure, how you start trusting yourself etc etc, How can I not savour it? How can I not get goosebumps just thinking about the experience of performing in front of an audience?
This workshop enabled me to let go of my inhibitions, made me realise how you channelise your efforts properly, how you make sure you take responsibility for your actions, but the only thing which I pray it would’ve made me capable of doing was going through this whole workshop once again for the 1st time.
I learnt a lot about creating a character, about getting that character to life, shedding your own skin and getting into the body and mind of that character etc.
All of this thanks to Vishal who’s been the best mentor anyone could ever hope for, who made everything so fun you can’t help but be engaged with it. At the same time he’s so knowledgeable, he made me, someone who has been a lover of the art of acting for a long time, fall in love equally with the subject of acting.
All in all, this is something I wish everyone goes through, if not to become a good actor, then definitely to become a much better person.
