I would first start by thanking “Baba” the Great Man who created this community of magical & passionate actors. The one who inspired so many and from them comes our Vishal Nayer who is inspiring many more in multiple folds.
I heard a lottt about this workshop from my friend Vishnuu, who happened to share how deeply it had impacted him, I felt I wouldn’t understand it until I experienced it! And Yes!! Words aren’t enough to describe what it does to you. Trust me! 6 weekends passed by so quickly. I am very new to acting, I was also skeptical about signing up for the workshop, but the amount of warmth & belief Vishal had in me from the interview day was so heartwarming. I am grateful to have been there with all of them for 12 days which I will treasure. 96 hours!! Of sooo much fun, warmth, learning, introspection, processing, application & GROWTH!!!!
Vishal’s insane energyy & love for this craft is unbelievable. Such neatly structured lessons, taught in a wildly engaging way, the MISF!T way with his magical touch that will keep one engaged & curious throughout. His energy is contagious, he makes sure that each of us tap into our maximum potential & ensures that each of us grow to our best versions.
For me it was not just Theatre, it was more about facing my inner world. To love me as I am, to believe in me, be confident in my own skin, find the magic that makes me unique and lovable. Access my power to emote, confronting my emerging blocks, try breaking my inhibitions, the permissions that I can give myself to be all goofy & silly… to give myself the chance to do things that I thought was impossible! & Remember you are not alone! You have a great mentor like Vishal who will guide you through each step with so much love, care & empathy… One will never feel alone. I felt loved, seen & appreciated for being myself, something that I deeply needed… And I discovered a new me who can Act!!!
I want to thank my group mentors-
Whip Smart Vishnu & Sassy Hrishita who worked with us so patiently & lovingly to put our final play together, their love for the craft was selflessly shared with us! ✨ also the ever gorgeous Ujani & sensational Dileep for their valuable inputs & time. & Ofcourse our Enchanting VISHAL for making all of this happen! We owe to each one of you! I still can’t believe what I did! I was able to break through my shell & do things I thought was impossible by me! I am so proud to be a part of the MISF!T family. A home that I will always run into filled with so many loving energies! I am so so grateful for crossing paths with so many enthusiastic people here at Vishal Nayer’s Acting Workshop!!!!
